Victor Moses is at risk of being banned for Chelsea's match at Leicester after being accused of feigning injury to avoid playing for Nigeria.
The Blues wide man was outstanding in the 2-0 victory over Hull - starting his first Premier League match of the season - but soon pulled out of the Super Eagles squad for the World Cup qualifier against Zambia, citing an injury.
Watford's Isaac Success also failed to make the trip due to a reported injury in the 2-2 draw over Bournemouth and even posted a picture of his leg strapped up on social media to legitimise his claim.
The Nigerian Football Federation are sceptical though and will carry out an investigation on the matter.

Isaac Success posted a picture of his leg on Instagram claiming to be injured“We know the two players had good games and there was no sign of injury on the duo during or after the game,” a NFF source told Complete Sports Nigeria.
“It came as a surprise to hear later that Moses was injured and that he would not be available for the game and Success finished his team’s game before claiming injury.
“Honestly, they won’t go unpunished if our investigation turns out as we are suspecting.

“In fact, we are considering writing a protest to FIFA if we find out that they connived with their respective clubs to feign injuries and stay away.”
The players are at risk of being banned from the games immediately after the international break with FIFA rules suggesting the NFF's complaint could result in a domestic suspension.
“A player who has been called up by his association for one of its representative teams is, unless otherwise agreed by the relevant association, not entitled to play for the club… during the period for which he has been released or should have been released.
"This restriction on playing for the club shall, moreover, be prolonged by five days in the event that the player, for whatsoever reason, did not wish to or was unable to comply with the call-up,” state the regulations.

NFF spokesman Ademola Olajire initially appeared to buy into Success' story by revealing that the Hornets star was 'finding it difficult to walk'.
But the NFF later changed their view and accused the player of knocking back the call-up when he was asked to pay for his plane fare and claim it back in expenses.
“The boy asked about his flight ticket to Abuja and when he was told to buy it and he will get a refund on arrival, he was disgusted and preferred to stay away,” a NFF official told African Football.
